Brightstar padded out of her den, sunlight warming her pelt. She saw Darkfire sitting not far away. She padded over to her. Brightstar dipped her head.
"Hello, Darkfire," She meowed warmly. "Would you like to speak in my den?" Although it sounded like she was giving Darkfire a choice, she had a feeling Darkfire knew it wasn't a suggestion. "I feel like we should talk about our Clan, get to know one another. Don't you?"

Darkfire looked up from what she was doing. She could hear the underlying tone of command in her leader’s voice, and resigned herself to having a talk. “Sure.” She said, a bit non-commitedly. She hadn’t’t gotten much sleep last night, and was rather tired. “What do you want to talk about?” She meowed, a slightly more respectful tone in her voice as her mind slowly woke up from the sleepy state she’d been in. frostcat(Sorry, to mention someone, you need the @ symboled in front of their name.) |

"Darkfire." Brightstar began. "First, I want you to promise me you will always be loyal to WolfClan." She needed to make sure her deputy would stay loyal. A loyal deputy was everything. Without one,her Clan would crumble. Which she did not want - at all. WolfClan would be the strongest Clan of them all!

Darkfire was surprised and a bit offended that Brightstar even had to ask that. Of course she was loyal to her clan, and she would do anything she could to make it the best it could be. “Of course.” She responded. “I always have been.” frostcat |

"Well, you must have a family." Brightstar meowed. "Unless they dies and you're uncomfortable talking about it. And you must have lived somewhere before WolfClan." She wrapped her tail around her paws. She hoped she wasn't bringing back old memories, memories Darkfire was trying to forget. But Brightstar felt that she needed to find out about Darkfire's past. Darkfire nodded "I do have some family. My mother and father were killed awhile ago, but I do have younger siblings. No littermates though." She added, almost as an afterthought. There was a slight pain in her words. Her mother and father had died trying to save her and her only other littermate during an attack, though Darkfire was the only who survived. frostcat |

Brightstar nodded understandingly. "My mother died when I was very young. In a fox attack. No siblings, though. If I did, they would be here, in WolfClan." She smiled at the thought. It would have been fun, to have someone beside her, fighting off her father's harsh rules and punishments. "Where are your younger siblings? Surely their still alive. Their still alive, right?" Brightstar tipped her head. If they were they could make good warriors of WolfClan, though Brightstar did not say that. It might make Darkfire think she was only interested in finding warriors for the Clan. ShadowWing65 |

Brightstar nodded seriously. ".....so....where are they now?" It didn't seem likely that Darkfire would just abandon them, so that meant they had either died or had grown up and left Darkfire. But both of those were harsh, especially to Darkfire, who would have become crushed if that happened. I either of them happened, really. ShadowWing65 |
